Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies

Who doesn’t love homemade chocolate chip cookies?
I can’t name one person that I know who doesn’t love a good chocolate chip cookie. It's a classic.
If you’ve been searching for a chocolate chip cookie recipe that is both a little crunchy and chewy then you came to the right place!

  1. Preheat your oven

     350 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Soften butter

     2 and 1/2 sticks of butter (leave at room temp. for about 30 minutes)

  3. In a mixer

     Using the paddle attachment (if using a stand mixer) beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar

Mix it until light and fluffy!

(about 2-3 minutes)

4.Add baking powder, baking soda, and salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

5. Add vanilla extract and eggs.Don’t over mix!

2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 large eggs

5. Slowly add your flour

3 cups self-rising flour

Continue adding slowly until all your dry ingredients are mixed in

6. Add Chocolate chips

7. Scoop out 1-2 inch cookie dough balls

on a baking sheet leaving about 1-2 inches in between each ball for it to spread

8. Bake!

About 16 minutes
